LIMA, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Southern Copper SCCO.N, a unit of mining giant Grupo Mexico GMEXICOB.MX, will increase the budget for its Tia Maria mine in Peru to $1.8 billion, the unit said in a statement on Tuesday, up from its previous spending plan of $1.4 billion for the project.
