消息面上，上海电气电站集团捷报频传，成功中标陕煤榆林化学二期项目汽轮发电机组设备订单、中海壳牌惠州三期乙烯项目汽轮发电机组设备订单、国电投江苏常熟替代扩建项目机电炉辅全套主设备订单以及三个高压加热器项目订单。
2024年10月，上海电气发布公告称，全资子公司自动化集团拟以现金方式收购电气控股持有的宁笙实业100%股权。宁笙实业的核心资产包括上海发那科机器人有限公司50%的股权。
