Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment (TYO:8953) received an A rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project for 2024, up from A- in the previous year, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The Carbon Disclosure Project, a non-profit backed by investors managing $142 trillion in assets, assesses companies on climate risk disclosures.
Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment said it remains committed to sustainability initiatives, including reducing emissions and enhancing environmental certifications across its portfolio.
