Hong Kong-based Gaw Capital and Singaporean investor Patience Capital completed the purchase of Tokyo-based mall Tokyu Plaza Ginza for more than $1 billion, Reuters reported Friday.
Gaw Capital formed a joint venture to acquire the property, the report said.
The Hong Kong-based investor holds 91% while Patience holds the remaining 9%, Reuters said.
Tokyu Plaza is Gaw's largest transaction in the Japanese market. Gaw holds 655 billion yen in assets under management in Japan, the report said.
