　　加拿大道明银行（Toronto-Dominion Bank）将退出对嘉信理财（Charles Schwab）的投资，这是该行在新任首席执行官Raymond Chun的领导下为振兴业务而采取的首个重大举措。

　　加拿大道明银行将通过记名股票发行以及将股票出售给嘉信理财公司的方式来出售其在嘉信理财的10.1%股份。

　　道明银行将把大部分收益用于该公司的大额股票回购计划。

　　一些分析师曾预测，出售嘉信理财的投资将是Chun快速迈出的第一步，因为该公司在10月与美国当局达成历史性和解后，道明银行承认了对其反洗钱控制失败的多项指控，并同意支付30.9亿美元的罚款并接受对其在美国的增长的限制。
