Civmec (ASX:CVL) reported Friday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.0515, from AU$0.0623 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting EPS of AU$0.06.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$502.9 million, up 2% from AU$492.3 million in the same period last year. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$530.9 million.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect earnings of AU$0.05 per diluted share on sales of AU$471.6 million in the fiscal second half, and earnings of AU$0.11 per diluted share on sales of AU$967.9 million for the full fiscal year.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.025 per share, unchanged from the AU$0.025 in the previous reported period, payable on April 11 to shareholders on record as of March 26.
Shares were down 12% in morning trade Friday.
