小米创办人雷军发文表示，他在赛道、测试场地都试驾过小米SU7 Ultra，也跑过山，充分体验了Ultra的性能和驾控，但在市区街道上试驾后才更深切感受到了Ultra的豪华感和舒适度。
这款车将在本月底正式登场，目前小米官方陆续公布了小米SU7 Ultra在赛道的圈速成绩，这款车已经分别挑战了成都天府赛道、株洲国际赛道、珠海国际赛车场和上海国际赛车场，圈速成绩分别为1'26''741、1'41"806、1'37''758和2'09''944。
其中在上海国际赛车场，小米SU7 Ultra圈速超过了保时捷Taycan Turbo GT，成为了上赛最速量产车。雷军表示，这是一个欢欣鼓舞的消息，但这不意味着我们就超越了保时捷，在我心里，保时捷依然是这个世界上最好的车。
他还强调，从小米SU7 Ultra和小米15 Ultra上，你能看到小米5年高端化探索的答卷，能看到下一个阶段，小米高端化征程的方向。这两款Ultra，也将带来更加深远的影响。这是个格局巨变的时代，我相信，两个Ultra将是一系列深刻变革的开始。
