Nissan Motor (TYO:7201), Honda Motor (TYO:7267), and Mitsubishi Motors (TYO:7211) have scrapped their memorandum of understanding (MOU) on a three-way collaboration, the companies said in a joint statement on Thursday.
This follows the termination of a separate MOU on business integration between Nissan and Honda signed on Dec. 23 last year. The automakers said they will instead advance cooperation through a strategic partnership focused on intelligent and electric vehicles.
