IT之家 2 月 17 日消息，消息源 @Leopeva64 昨日（2 月 16 日）在 X 平台发布推文，称在经过 3 个月的 Canary 频道测试后，谷歌 Chrome 浏览器稳定版已全平台上线全新“增强保护”（Enhanced protection）功能，在现有功能基础上，通过 AI 实时防护危险网站、下载和扩展程序等。
IT之家注：“增强保护”（Enhanced protection）并非新功能，作为“安全浏览”的一部分已经存在多年，此次更新的核心在于引入了 AI 技术，但目前尚不清楚新功能与旧版“非 AI”版本有何不同。
谷歌可能正在使用 AI 实时理解模式，并向用户警告潜在有害网站，还会深度扫描可疑下载。不过谷歌也警告说，当启用“增强保护”功能后，用户的浏览数据将被发送给谷歌。
AI 驱动的“增强保护”功能默认处于关闭状态，用户可以在 Windows、Android 和 iOS 系统上的“设置”-“安全”中手动开启。
