--Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency over the weekend fired U.S. Food and Drug Administration employees reviewing Musk's brain-implant company Neuralink as part of a broader plan to cut the size of the federal workforce, Reuters reports, citing two people familiar with the matter.

--About 20 people in the FDA's office of neurological and physical medicine devices were affected by the cuts, Reuters reports, citing sources.
