High-Yield Credit Investors Expect ECB Rates to Fall to 1.75%, IG Investors Expect 2% -- Market Talk

1452 GMT - Investors in investment-grade credit expect the European Central Bank to cut interest rates by slightly less than investors in high-yield credit, the Bank of America credit investor survey shows. Up to 41% of investment-grade credit investors expect the ECB's terminal deposit rate will be 2%, while a 37% share of high-yield credit investors forecast a terminal rate at 1.75%, according to the survey. Analysts at Bank of America expect the deposit rate to fall to a low of 1.5% by September. The ECB deposit rate is currently at 2.75%. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
