周一公布的调查显示，受政府增税影响，许多英国雇主打算提高价格并裁员，小型企业信心降至五年低点。

　　英国特许人事发展协会（CIPD）表示，90%的雇主认为，财政部长里夫斯从4月起提高工资税的决定，将推高雇佣成本。在这一群体中，42%的人表示他们打算提高价格，32%的人表示他们打算通过裁员或减少招聘以减少员工人数。

　　英国小企业联合会（FSB）的另一项调查显示，其成员的信心在2024年底降至自2020年第一季度以来的最低水平。

　　这些调查与其他指标相呼应，显示自里夫斯10月30日公布预算案以来，企业信心大幅下滑。
