2 月 19 日，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik 于在 Tako 平台举办的文字 AMA 中针对“ETH 3.0”问题时回答称：
现在没有什么东西可以称之为“ETH 3.0”。
有人会说 Justin Drake 的 5 年计划就是，但是那个计划只是共识层的，不是执行层，所以只是以太坊区块链的未来的一部分。
L1 和 L2 的关系和平衡是一个执行层的问题。这里有另外一个路线图：
· 加强 L1 的能力
· 提高跨 L2 的互操作性，提高 blobs 等等
我也觉得 L2 是不是给 L1 付足够的交易费这个问题不能过于从短期的角度看。比如：
· EIP-4844 之前，大家的埋怨是相反的：L1 是不是吸 L2 的血？
· 现在，最近 30 天的 blob 费是 500 ETH· 如果 blob 目标从 3 提高到 128，按照我们的计划，如果 blob gas 价格是一样的，会每个月烧 21333 ETH，每年就是 256,000 枚 ETH。
所以这里叙事容易快速改变，现在我们需要加强 L1，让应该在 L1 发生的事情能在 L1 发生，增加 blobs，然后保持我们社区的适应性。
