Beacon Lighting Group Posts Lower Fiscal H1 Earnings Despite Higher Revenue; Shares Down 3%

Beacon Lighting Group (ASX:BLX) reported Thursday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.0775 from AU$0.0802 per diluted share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting EPS of AU$0.08.

Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$170.8 million, up from AU$165.1 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected sales of AU$172.7 million.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.041 per share, unchanged from the previous reported period, payable March 21 to shareholders on record as of March 7.

The company's shares fell almost 3% in recent Thursday trade.
