0805 GMT - Singapore's grocers and malls are set to be the biggest beneficiaries of generous handouts from the country's budget, say DBS Group Research analysts in a note. A set of support measures was announced to help households and individuals tackle rising cost-of-living pressures. Various vouchers will support retail-related spending, particularly on essentials at suburban retail malls, DBS says. Among other beneficiaries are supermarkets and food-court operators, the bank adds. Sheng Siong Group is best positioned to gain as a pure domestic grocery retailer, DBS says. (amanda.lee@wsj.com)
