BBVA Issues 1 Billion Euros in 12-Year Tier 2 Bond

Spanish bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria on Monday issued 1 billion euros in a 12-year tier 2 bond.

The bond carries a 4% coupon, payable annually with the first call date on Feb. 25, 2032.

The funds raised will be used to effectively manage the bank's capital structure, BBVA said.
