EVT (ASX:EVT) reported Monday fiscal first-half earnings of AU$0.19 per diluted share, up from AU$0.167 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected AU$0.10 in diluted earnings per share.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$649.1 million, compared with AU$658.9 million a year earlier.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.16 per share, up from AU$0.14 in the previously reported period, payable March 20 to shareholders on record as of March 6.
The company's shares surged almost 12% in recent Monday trade, earlier hitting their highest since February 2023.
