路透社布鲁塞尔2月24日 - 欧盟委员会周一表示，欧盟反垄断监管机构已暂停对自由媒体公司（Liberty Media）FWONA.O以35亿欧元<(37亿美元<) >竞购多纳体育公司（Dorna Sports）的调查，同时等待两家公司提供信息。
欧盟反垄断执法机构于 12 月对 (link) 展开全面调查，警告称该交易可能会推高两家公司主办的赛车赛事转播权许可价格。
调查的另一个重点是自由媒体和美国有线电视公司Liberty Global的LBTYA.O最大股东约翰-马龙（John Malone）是否对两家公司有决定性的影响，这可能会促使自由媒体在比利时、爱尔兰和荷兰等有Liberty Global业务的国家将竞争对手的广播公司拒之门外。
