电讯盈科2024年度收益增长3% OTT业务EBITDA下降33%
2月21日，电讯盈科（00008）发布截至2024年12月31日止年度业绩公告，整体收益增加3%至375.57亿港元。
香港电讯的收益（未计流动通讯产品销售）同样增加2%至320.31亿港元。EBITDA（税息折旧及摊销前利润）上升至128.49亿港元，其中香港电讯EBITDA增加3%至137.43亿港元。值得注意的是，OTT业务的EBITDA则下降了33%至3.98亿港元，主要是由于支出增加和收益组合变化所致。
管理层指出，尽管面临经济低迷的挑战，公司通过审慎拓展视像串流及本地电视平台，推动盈利增长。Viu的订购用户基础增长了17%至1550万，尤其在印尼、马来西亚和泰国市场表现强劲。同时，艺人管理及活动业务也表现优异，带动免费电视及相关业务收益突破11亿港元，增长11%。
在财务报表附注中，值得关注的是流动通讯产品销售的收益下降8%，这主要受到消费者对新手机功能的需求疲软影响。整体来看，公司的业务分部表现稳健，尤其是香港电讯和艺人管理业务的增长显著，尽管OTT业务面临一些挑战。
