Predictive Discovery (ASX:PDI) said drilling results from the Argo area of its Bankan gold project in Guinea intersected gold mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It received results from 41 holes for 6,984 meters of resource definition drilling at the Fouwagbe and Sounsoun targets, as well as exploration drilling at Sounsoun, confirming the south-western corridor at Sounsoun as a priority for further exploration.
Drilling at the corridor resulted in intercepts of 17 meters at 1.76 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 35 meters and 23 meters at 3.07 g/t grade of gold from 77 meters, with the hole ending in mineralization.
Results from the Fouwagbe target include an intercept of 5 meters at 15.98 g/t grade of gold from 55 meters depth.
It is conducting geological modeling and mineral resource estimation for the Fouwagbe and Sounsoun targets.
