Prabowo and SBY Scheduled to Speak at Regional Head Retreat Today

TEMPO.CO, Magelang - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to deliver material for the regional head retreat at the Magelang Military Academy today, Thursday, February 27, 2025. The sixth president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is also planned to attend on the seventh day.

Based on the schedule released by the committee, SBY will deliver material from 14:00 to 15:30 local time. Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian will act as moderator.

Then Prabowo will lead the twilight parade from 17:00 to 18:15 local time. Continued with a farewell dinner at Rukan Husen from 19:30 to 21:00 local time. Retreat participants are asked to wear reserve component uniforms during dinner.

Prabowo will be at the regional head retreat location for the last two days. "And at the peak, President Prabowo will accompany our activities," said Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto.

The day before, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka had attended the retreat. He arrived at the Military Academy (Akmil) at 09:30 local time. Journalists were prohibited from entering the retreat area when Gibran was delivering his material.

Gibran advised regional heads not to miss the instructions that Prabowo would deliver. He left the Akmil complex at 10:45 local time.
