Michael Hill International Chief Executive Officer Passes Away, Shares Down 4%

Michael Hill International (ASX:MHJ, NZE:MJH) said its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Daniel Bracken as unexpectedly passed away overnight as a result of an adverse reaction to treatment for an underlying condition, according to a Wednesday Australian and New Zealand bourse filing.

The company said it will provide further details of interim leadership arrangements in due course.

Company shares were down 4% in recent trade in Australia and up 2% in New Zealand.
