智通财经APP获悉，据知情人士透露，英国银行NatWest(NWG.US)正在进行与杠杆贷款组合相关的重大风险转移（SRT）。
知情人士表示，投资组合的规模接近 10 亿英镑(13 亿美元)。他们补充说，SRT 的规模约为 9,000 万英镑。
SRT 是银行管理风险的一种越来越受欢迎的工具。银行可以通过将这些票据出售给养老金、主权财富基金和对冲基金来确保贷款不会违约。这使他们能够减少自有资本的占用以满足监管要求，而投资者可以获得经常超过 10% 的收益率。
知情人士称，包括规模在内的条款仍有待与投资者讨论。另外，该银行周三正在推销以英镑计价的附加一级债券，这是一种贷方用来增强资本缓冲的债务。
SRT 越来越受欢迎，这意味着此类交易今年有望创下历史新高。投资 SRT 的Chorus Capital Management预计，全球发行量将增至 350 亿美元，而去年的发行量预计为 290 亿美元，其中大部分发生在欧洲。
去年，NatWest 银行增加了 SRT 部门的银行家，并推销了与 14 亿英镑贷款相关的风险转移。英国银行近期的其他交易包括与15 亿美元贷款组合相关的渣打银行交易。
