智通财经APP讯，洲际船务(02409)发布公告，于2025年2月26日，租船人及卖方(均为本公司的间接全资附属公司)、拥有人、本公司及担保人订立融资租赁安排，卖方同意根据协议备忘录向拥有人出售该船舶(该船舶为一艘40,000dwt的在建散货船)，代价为3400万美元;根据光船租赁，拥有人同意将该船舶出租予租船人;本公司以拥有人为受益人订立第一份担保;及担保人以租船人及卖方为受益人订立第二份担保。
本集团历来透过融资租赁安排为收购控制船舶提供资金。融资租赁安排使本集团能够获得收购该船舶的融资，符合本集团通过逐步淘汰其陈旧控制船舶并将其替换为较新船舶以持续优化其船队，并扩大其控制船队的策略。董事相信，通过船队优化，本集团能够提升其于海运行业的竞争力，并能应对市场对其航运服务的需求。
同时，根据担保人签立的第二份担保，担保人同意担保拥有人履行融资租赁安排。担保人于1967年在日本成立，为一家主要从事拥有船舶及船舶日常营运的本地航运公司。本公司相信，拥有人及担保人具备履行彼等各自于融资租赁安排及第二份担保项下义务的财务实力及能力。
