消息面上，据彭博引述知情人士透露，美高梅中国正与数十间银行商讨，寻求约20亿美元银团贷款，期限为五年并以港元计价，此次筹集资金将用于再融资。知情人士透露，美高梅中国正考虑扩建其澳门赌场度假村，以吸引传统赌客以外的客户。
里昂发布研报称，美高梅中国去年第四季物业EBITDA按季增长7%至21.26亿元，超出市场及该行预期约4%至5%，博彩收入市场份额稳定为15.5%，EBITDA利润率轻微下跌0.5个百分点至26.8%。花旗则预计公司将在3月中旬派发末期息，维持50%派息比率，意味股息率约6%，可为投资者在短期下行风险提供保障。
