0240 GMT - Daiwa House Logistics Trust's gearing optimization is poised to drive earnings growth, DBS Group Research analysts say in a report as they reiterate a buy rating. The REIT recently utilized its debt headroom to acquire two high-quality logistics facilities in Vietnam and Japan, the analysts note. The acquisitions will probably generate accretion of around 2%, delivering on the REIT's pledge to optimize gearing to pursue accretive acquisitions, the analysts say. However, foreign-exchange fluctuations have introduced some earnings volatility for the REIT, according to DBS. It adjusts its forex assumptions to account for a slightly weaker yen. It trims the REIT's target price to S$0.65 from S$0.70. Units are 0.8% lower at S$0.59. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
