3月5日，市场消息，高盛计划提前进行年度裁员，预计裁员幅度为3%至5%，与往年比例大致相同。此次裁员将于春季进行，而不是通常的下半年，主要目标是副总裁级别员工，原因是近年来该级别员工招聘规模过大。

据悉，此次裁员是高盛控制成本、为新人才腾出空间的常规举措。截至2024年底，高盛共有4.65万名员工，较2023年底的4.53万人略有增加，但少于2022年的4.85万人。

高盛发言人回应称，此次裁员是公司正常年度人才管理流程的一部分，并拒绝进一步置评。

公开资料显示，在传统的华尔街投行职级序列中，副总裁级（VP）通常位于中层，介于初级岗位（如分析师、经理）与高阶岗位（如董事、执行董事、董事总经理）之间。在高盛这类顶级投行，VP可管理上亿元级项目，且年薪可达百万美元。

当地时间3月4日，高盛股价大跌近4%，报收581.14美元，总市值1813亿美元。值得注意的是，2024年，高盛股价大涨了48%。今年以来，高盛股价持续上涨，2月中旬一度冲到672.19美元高点。此后迅速下跌，至今已跌超13%。
