0858 GMT - Deutsche Post's guidance reassures as it has been set at a manageable level, Deutsche Bank analyst Andy Chu writes. The bank says that since roughly this time last year it had been concerned about the risk to management guidance and the lack of a turn in the freight cycle. "Today's results allow us to pivot our view as guidance has been de-risked and re-based down to more achievable levels." Full-year EBIT guidance is in line with the bank's estimates and the medium-term guidance now doesn't try to predict economic cycles, Chu says. The bank upgrades Deutsche Post to buy from hold and raises its target price to 50 euros from 36 euros. Shares fall 2.4% to 43.22 euros. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
