Winfull Group (HKG:0183) unit August Ally subscribed for $5 million of 7.2% perpetual bonds issued by Elect Global Investments on Wednesday, a same-day filing the Hong Kong said.
The bonds, which were subscribed through the joint lead managers for investment purposes, make up part of a $750 million issue of the perpetual bonds.
The subsidiary had, on Nov. 23 and 24, purchased $3.5 million of 4.1% perpetual bonds from the same issuer from the open market.
