Ultra Clean said Jim Scholhamer resigned as chief executive for health reasons and Chairman Clarence Granger will replace him on an interim basis.
The semiconductor manufacturing company on Wednesday said that the board is in the process of creating a search committee to find a permanent replacement for Scholhamer, who had served as the company's CEO since 2015.
Granger has served as board member since 2002 and as chairman since 2006. From 1996 to 2015, Granger also held multiple roles within the company including operating chief and executive vice president of operations, culminating with 12 years as CEO, the company added.
