Mantle Ridge has invested over $1 billion in Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH), multiple news outlets reported Saturday, citing unnamed people with knowledge of the matter.
The activist firm is urging the company to raise its operating margins but does not plan to pursue board seats, sources told the outlets.
Both Mantle Ridge and Cognizant did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
