新华社加拉加斯3月8日电（记者田睿）委内瑞拉总统马杜罗8日表示，委政府并不反对雪佛龙石油公司继续在委开展业务，美国单方面叫停雪佛龙石油公司在委业务是“搬起石头砸自己的脚”。
马杜罗当天在委国家电视台转播的演讲中表示，美方这一行为破坏了委美双边沟通进程，同时还会对本已确定的自美国遣返委内瑞拉移民的航班造成影响。
美国财政部外国资产控制办公室4日宣布，雪佛龙石油公司及其子公司所运营和管理的在委合资公司应在4月3日前逐步停止相关交易。
由于美国持续对委内政进行干涉并企图通过政变等手段推翻马杜罗政府，委内瑞拉自2019年1月起与美国断绝外交关系至今。美方不断加大对委经济制裁，包括禁止委原油出口。2022年11月26日，时任美国总统拜登豁免美国雪佛龙石油公司及其子公司，允许其重新在委内瑞拉有限制地进行石油开采与勘探作业。美国总统特朗普今年2月26日在社交媒体发文表示，将撤销拜登政府同委内瑞拉达成的石油交易协议中所作豁免。
