快科技3月9日消息，NVIDIA正在为入门级市场筹备一款新的GeForce RTX 5050显卡，这款显卡将采用8GB GDDR6显存。
这将是NVIDIA首款采用GDDR6显存的Blackwell架构显卡，与GDDR7显存相比，GDDR6的成本更低，可能会使RTX 5050成为更具性价比的选择。
在规格方面，RTX 5050的功耗预计为135W，售价可能在199-249美元之间，定位是与英特尔Arc B580竞争，此外AMD 也可能在不久的将来推出RX 9050系列显卡，这将进一步加剧低端显卡市场的竞争。
NVIDIA在上一代的Ada Lovelace架构中并未推出 50 级别的显卡，但在Ampere架构中曾有RTX 3050。
此次RTX 5050的推出，可能是为了填补这一市场空白，并应对英特尔和AMD在入门级市场的挑战。
