智通财经APP获悉，印尼投资部长表示，越南电动汽车制造商VinFast(VFS.US)计划在印尼全国范围内安装多达10万个充电站。此前，印尼总统普拉博沃•苏比安托于周二会见了该公司代表。
另外，部长Rosan Roeslani还表示，VinFast在西爪哇省的工厂将于明年投产，年产能为5万辆。该公司去年已开始建设这座价值2亿美元的电动汽车组装厂。
VinFast尚未立即回应置评请求。公司高管在会见普拉博沃后拒绝向媒体发表评论。
据了解，印尼怀有成为电动汽车制造中心的雄心，试图利用其丰富的镍资源(用于制造电动汽车电池)。政府还向汽车制造商提供了一系列激励措施。
随着更多电动汽车制造商推出价格实惠的车型，印尼国内电动汽车的普及率近几个月也有所上升。2月份汽车销量同比增长2.2%，这是自2023年6月以来的首次增长，主要由电动汽车销售推动。
Rosan表示，VinFast计划中的充电站投资可能有助于推动进一步增长。
Rosan称：“(VinFast)已经选定了充电站的位置。对我们来说，随着电动汽车基础设施的完善，电动汽车的普及率将会上升。”
该部长还表示，该公司正在考虑投资印尼的可再生能源领域，建设风电场和太阳能电池板。
普拉博沃与VinFast的会晤是在印尼总统与越共总书记苏林举行双边会晤的次日进行的，双方在会晤中同意加强经济合作。
