Enechange Completes EV Charging Business Split; Forms JV with Chubu Electric Power Miraiz

Enechange (TYO:4169) completed the spin-off of its EV Charging Service business into a new company on March 10, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The company transferred a 51% stake to Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., forming a joint venture with a 49%-51% ownership split.

The new company, renamed Miraiz Enechange, will operate the EV charging business. It is headquartered in Tokyo with Yoshitaka Tsugeno as president and Tomoya Maruoka as director.

The joint venture aims to expand EV charging infrastructure in Japan.
