云顶新耀：新型mRNA个性化肿瘤治疗性疫苗EVM16完成首例患者给药
本报讯 （记者张文湘见习记者金婉霞）3月10日，记者从云顶新耀医药科技有限公司（以下简称“云顶新耀”）获悉，公司自主研发的新型mRNA个性化肿瘤治疗性疫苗EVM16完成首例患者给药。
值得一提的是，该疫苗的抗原由AI算法辅助完成开发。“云顶新耀自主研发了‘妙算’AI系统。基于该系统预测得出的新抗原，已在人体新抗原免疫原性数据上得到验证，EVM16已发表的一期研究免疫原性数据显示，新抗原总计检测率高达79.3%。”云顶新耀相关负责人表示。
据介绍，近四年来，云顶新耀依托AI驱动的端到端mRNA研发平台，实现了从靶点筛选、序列设计到递送优化的效率跃升。其专有的“妙算”mRNA序列设计算法已迭代到第三代，能够把第一代算法得到的蛋白表达提升5倍左右，并仍在持续迭代中。
除EVM16外，云顶新耀还有多个肿瘤及与自身免疫系统疾病相关的mRNA治疗药物。云顶新耀首席执行官罗永庆表示，AI正重塑生物医药研发格局，“AI技术在肿瘤诊疗领域的应用价值已形成全球共识，而如何以AI赋能mRNA技术平台加速新药研发，更是全球范围的重大趋势，云顶新耀将在这一进程中积极尝试和不断突破”。
