Market Chatter: FedEx Suspends Some Shipping Services to Saudi Arabia from Select Countries

FedEx (FDX) has temporarily discontinued economy parcel and freight services from certain countries, including India, to Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported Monday, citing a company statement.

The service has also been suspended for parcels coming from Brazil, Taiwan, Japan, China, and Great Britain, according to the news agency.

The company's priority service remain in place and it plans to resume economy services as soon as possible. The company did not specify a reason for its decision, Reuters reported.

FedEx did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
