智通财经APP获悉，据媒体报道，港交所(00388)正在讨论降低投资者购买部分香港最昂贵股票的门槛，以刺激交易。报道指，在港交所最近几周与券商的会谈交流中，交易所官员提出了精简每只股票的最小交易单位或交易手数的选项。
目前股份最小交易单位由每家公司设定，范围从100股到数千股不等。包括中国内地在内的其他市场的股份交易最小单位通常为100股，某些情况下最低为1股。
报道还指，港交所尚未显示优先的方向，政策制定仍在进行中，时间表和范围尚未明确。
虽然香港的投资者可以购买部分股本，但由于基础设施问题，其成本高于整股。报道指出，官员们也讨论了让交易所规定单股交易价格与股票买卖单位价格相同的问题，以提高公众股东的流动性。这将避免对与交易手数一致的衍生性商品和结算系统进行大规模的市场调整。
港交所发言人在一份声明中表示，该所评估每手交易的数量处于初步阶段，这是港交所持续努力改进香港股市结构以确保其切合所需的一部分；港交所将考虑各种方案的优点，并在实施任何调整之前咨询市场。
