According to the statement from the relevant office, this proposal, known as the "transition" plan, was put forward by U.S. Middle East Envoy Wettkoft and National Security Council official Eric Tragg on Wednesday. The statement further details that this proposal has been conveyed to Hamas through Qatar and Egypt as partners.
