3月12日，水滴公司 ( WDH.US) 发布公告，委任香港大学协理副校长、香港大学经管学院副院长（研究与知识交流）、金融学讲座教授及宝光基金教授席教授（金融学）林晨为公司独立非执行董事，于2025年3月11日生效。
林晨教授在自己的研究方向上担任了多项学术兼职与社会职务，自2021年3月起为香港证券及期货事务监察委员会（SFC）金融科技咨询小组成员，自2023年7月起为香港特别行政区政府第三代互联网（Web3.0）发展专责小组相关业界非官方成员，自2023月3月起为英国社会科学院院士，自2022年6月起为欧洲科学院院士，自2021年8月起担任恒生指数顾问委员会委员，自2019年6月以来成为香港金融管理局香港货币及金融研究中心顾问成员，2017年1月至2022年12月担任香港外汇基金咨询委员会货币发行委员会委员。
此外，林晨教授还担任招商局置地资管有限公司、十月稻田集团股份有限公司( 09676)等公司的独立非执行董事。
