TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman has been officially named a suspect in a case involving the sexual abuse of a minor and drug-related offenses.
The Head of Public Relations for the National Police, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, confirmed that AKBP Fajar was found to have committed these crimes following an investigation at National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
Trunoyudo stated that the former police chief had also violated the police code of ethics. "The suspect is accused of involvement in the sexual harassment of a minor and illicit intercourse," he said during a press conference at the National Police Public Relations Division in Jakarta on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
He emphasized that the National Police would not tolerate such actions, describing them as despicable behavior and serious misconduct. "The suspect also recorded and distributed indecent videos," the one-star general added.
Before being officially named a suspect, AKBP Fajar was reassigned to the National Police's Security Maintenance Unit through the National Police Chief’s Telegram No. ST/489/III/KEP/2025, issued on March 12, 2025. The document had already been authenticated with the auditor’s signature.
Sexual Abuse Chronology
The investigating team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the East Nusa Tenggara Police stated that there were minors who were victims of alleged sexual abuse by the suspect.
The child victim was on the suspect's orders through a woman with the initials F. F agreed to the request and searched for children until she found the victim.
After that, F took the victim to the hotel that Fajar had previously booked. While investigating, the NTT Police went to one of the hotels where the rooms had been booked, it was proven that there was identification, namely the driving license (SIM) belonging to the inactive Ngada Police Chief.
“So it is undeniable that there is a photocopy of a driver's license at the receptionist of one of these hotels, on behalf of FWSL,” said Director of Criminal Investigation of the NTT Regional Police Commissioner Patar Silalahi.
