Swire Pacific (HKG:0019, HKG:0087) attributable profit plunged 85% to HK$4.32 billion in 2024 from HK$28.9 billion in 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per A share at the conglomerate decreased 85% to HK$3.06 from HK$19.96 in the previous year, while earnings per B share slipped to HK$0.61 from HK$3.99.
Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated earnings per share at HK$6.93.
Revenue declined 14% to HK$82.0 billion from HK$94.8 billion a year earlier.
The company declared a second interim dividend of HK$2.10 per A share and HK$0.42 per B share, both payable May 9 to shareholders on record as of April 11.
