Garden Reach Shipbuilders Bags Order for Supply of Modular Bridges in Nagaland, India; Shares Up 5%

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (NSE:GRSE, BOM:542011) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with PWD (Public Works Department) Nagaland, India for the supply of eight sets of double lane modular steel bridges in the state, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

To date, the company has supplied over 5,800 modular bridges to clients such as the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL), apart from several state governments countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Shares of the company were up nearly 5% in recent trade.
