消息面上，据财联社报道，刚果（金）考虑采取措施加强对钴出口的临时禁令，包括与全球第二大钴供应国印尼合作。中信证券此前指出，刚果(金)政府于2月24日宣布决定暂停钴出口四个月，2024年该国钴矿产量占全球76%，若该政策在2025年严格执行，测算此举或影响6.7万吨的钴供应量，或将带动全球钴矿供应在2025年转为短缺，推动钴价持续反弹。
据悉，金川国际及其附属公司主要从事于刚果（金）及赞比亚开采有色金属，主要为铜及钴；及于香港进行矿产品及金属产品贸易。铜钴价格变动是影响公司业绩的主要因素。中邮证券此前指，根据相关报道，Musonoi矿山投产后可带来3.8 万吨铜产量和0.78 万吨钴产能，是公司未来主要增长动力。
