智通财经APP讯，福耀玻璃(03606)发布公告，公司已在美国投资设立了全资子公司福耀玻璃美国有限公司及全资孙公司福耀玻璃伊利诺伊有限公司。为满足公司在美国的汽车玻璃生产基地对汽车级优质浮法玻璃的需求，保证原材料供应安全，降低生产成本，进一步完善产业链和发挥协同效应，公司拟使用自有资金和/或合法自筹资金对全资子公司福耀美国增加投资40000万美元(或等值欧元、人民币等币种)用于对其全资子公司福耀伊利诺伊追加投资并由福耀伊利诺伊用于投资建设一条汽车级浮法玻璃生产线项目。
公告称，公司本次对全资子公司福耀美国及福耀伊利诺伊进行增加投资，用于扩大福耀伊利诺伊的汽车级浮法玻璃生产规模，是为了满足公司在美国的汽车玻璃生产基地对汽车级优质浮法玻璃的需求，保证原材料供应安全，降低生产成本，进一步完善产业链和发挥协同效应，增强公司的竞争能力，促进公司持续稳定的发展。
