智通财经APP讯，万事昌国际(00898)发布公告，于2025年3月17日，本公司以贷款人为受益方订立公司担保，为借款人(本公司间接拥有49%权益)于贷款协议项下的49%还款责任提供担保。贷款本金总额最高为1.32亿令吉(相当于约2.31亿港元 )，将由借款人用作收购及发展该等土地的资金。
董事认为，公司担保将有助借款人应付其收购及发展该等土地的财务需要，并与本集团的主要业务一致，因此对本集团有利。
