China Glass (HKG:3300) forecasts its net loss will widen to 980 million yuan in 2024 from 487 million yuan in 2023, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The wider loss was attributable to the downturn in China's real estate industry and the supply-demand imbalance in the solar and renewable energy industries, geopolitical instability, and impairments for certain production lines.
The glass production company looks to publish its 2024 results by the end of March.
