0930 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index closed 0.6% higher at 3859.36. Asian markets appear supported by China's targeted consumption stimulus plan, the Saxo strategy team says in a note. However, caution still reigns among investors given U.S. trade tensions, they add. Among advancers, Sembcorp Industries rose 2.35%, Singtel gained 2.1% and Genting Singapore was 2.05% higher. Among decliners, DFI Retail group fell 1.8%, while Singapore Exchange and Hongkong Land each lost 0.9%. (kimberley.kao@wsj.com)
