TOMI Environmental Solutions Deploys Disinfection, Decontamination Technology at NASA for Biosecurity Operation

TOMI Environmental Solutions (TOMZ) said Thursday it has deployed its SteraMist iHP disinfection and decontamination technology at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center to improve biosecurity biosafety standards.

The technology, selected by NASA in partnership with an unnamed US government and commercial services engineering contractor, is being used in a biosafety cabinet at the NASA Johnson Space Center to handle samples from the Mars Perseverance Rover mission, the company said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Shares of the company fell 2.8% in recent trading.
