智通财经APP讯，飞道旅游科技(08069)发布公告，公司一直透过零售店铺及电商平台销售时尚生活产品，包括玩具手办、未经使用名贵手袋及二手手表(统称零售业务)。该业务为集团的业务分部之一。由于目前的经济状况、电商竞争激烈及到访香港的游客数量下滑，零售业务面临的挑战日益加剧。
鉴于经营环境充满挑战及市场气氛低迷，董事会持续监察零售业务的效率及效益，定期评估其表现以进行资源分配。集团已寻求多项策略减轻成本及提高盈利能力。然而，该等举措并未取得显著成果。
截至2024年9月30日止六个月，零售业务的未经审核收益约占集团总收益的5%。此外，同期取得零售业务亏损30万港元(尚待审核)。自零售业务开始营运起，零售业务并无为集团贡献任何经营溢利。
公告称，充满挑战的环境;现时零售业务所产生的亏损;香港零售业的市场状况恶化且前景低迷;及预期零售业务缺乏未来前景共同导致从事零售业务不再具有商业吸引力。因此，经审慎周详考虑后，董事会已议决结束零售业务并终止其营运。董事会认为，此决定符合公司及其股东的最佳利益，使集团能够将其资源集中于集团的其他主营业务。
